Volunteer Work
Over the course of my career, I have volunteered for several organizations including the American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, March of Dimes, St. Jude's Hospital, and the Association for Women in Communications. Below are some published communications examples over the course of my volunteer experiences.
Association for Women in Communications Detroit Chapter
Since April 2020, I have supported the Association for Women in Communications Detroit Chapter marketing/membership efforts. The Association for Women in Communications Detroit Chapter is the second largest chapter in the country and has received the Chapter Excellence Awards for 10 consecutive years.
In July 2021, I was cordially invited to join the Board of Directors as the VP, Membership and Member Ambassador, until my term ended in June 2023. In October 2022, I received the prestigious 2022 Chapter Star Award. The Chapter Star Award is presented in recognition of leadership and outstanding contributions to the mission of AWC. I was one of three recipients nationwide for this award.
Since July 2023, I have served as the membership and marketing consultant, providing expert consultation for the new membership and marketing committees, ensuring a seamless transition period.

The Association for Women in Communications Detroit Chapter thanked our members for donating infant-sized diapers for the Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan “Wee Help” program, helping limited-income new mothers meet their newborn’s immediate needs!
